Our Story

As a high school student at Downingtown STEM, I see the 'Artificial Brain' trend every day—where AI is used to bypass learning rather than enhance it. I’m Akshaj Nair, and I’m on a mission to change that. My journey from earning a Black Belt to mastering programming languages has taught me that there are no shortcuts to true skill. Having spent over 50 hours tutoring math, I know that a correct answer is hollow without understanding. Through LearnSmart AI, I’m proving that tech can be a bridge to deeper knowledge, offering step-by-step guidance that turns AI from a threat to honesty into a partner in curiosity.

Experienced Leadership

As a high school student, I see a growing trend of peers using AI as a shortcut to an answer rather than a path to understanding. But a correct answer on a screen doesn't translate to success on an in-person exam. My ten years in Taekwondo taught me that mastery requires discipline—a habit I’ve carried since childhood. As a math mentor, I’ve seen that true learning only happens when a student grapples with the 'how' and 'why.' I created LearnSmart AI to bridge this gap, using technology to foster the same consistency and discipline I learned on the mat to help students everywhere achieve genuine academic growth.
